The Author

In a nutshell, I’m a thinking man.

My professional background is in information technology, having worked for more than a decade as a programmer and business analyst for various companies around the United States and Canada. The reason I’m successful in my professional life, however, is not so much that I am a great computer scientist or a highly skilled computer analyst; rather, it is because I have a knack for critical thinking and problem solving. I have a gift for reason and the tenacity to dig and sweat and struggle with a problem until I understand it. After all, it’s only by understanding the cause of a problem that its solution can be identified.

I’m a religious person–a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) to be specific. For some of you, knowing this will immediately reduce my credibility in your minds. For such I can only say, engage me in reasonable conversation regarding truth and religion, suspend your disbelief and prejudice long enough to actually think it through, and you’ll end up either a member of the church or a confirmed fool with fingers set firmly in the ears.
